Most artists have an art block at some time. Here's what I do to help me when I have one!

1. Combining Animals
Choose two animals (randomly, if you want) from this list and combine them:
-Rabbit   -Mouse
-Weasel   -Lion
-Koala    -Dragon
-Cat      -Fox
-Dog      -Racoon
-Bear     -Deer
-Squirrel -Zebra
-Cyote    -Hippo
-Kangaroo -Frog
-Leopard  -Penguin
-Owl      -Goat
-Sheep    -Giraffe

2. Idea Generator
Choose a random number in each category (well, you could choose which one, too...), then draw the result. 8D
Category 1-
1. A Mother and Baby
2. A Brother and Sister
3. A Baby
4. A lonely
5. An injured
6. A crying
7. A confident
8. A wondering/curious
9. An annoyed
10. A happy
11. A sarcastic
12. An angry
13. A scared
14. An excited
15. A tired
16. A quite dapper indeed


Category 2-
1. original character
2. Animal or human
3. -insert fanart character here- (like fanart for a show or game, or fanart for an artist)

Category 3-
1. on a beach.
2. eating.
3. in a forest.
4. on a wall.
5. sleeping.
6. swimming.
7. falling.
8. jumping.
9. running.
10. in love.
11. trying to sleep.
12. hiding somewhere.
13. in the snow.
14. indoors.
15. by a river.
16. drinking tea.  
17. singing.
18. falling down a hill.
19. at the bottom of a well.
20. fighting.

For example, if I chose #14, then #2, then #4, then what I would draw was 'An excited fox on a wall'.

3. Pose Help
If you already know who/what you're going to draw but can't think of a pose, picture the character in your head, walking/running around, doing random things. |D; -hard to explain- Just let the character do whatever, and eventually it should get into a pose that you might want to draw. Trust me, I've used this method many times and it has almost always worked. c:

4. Requests
If all else fails, then take requests! It doesn't matter if they're normal or spam requests, whatever you feel like doing. If you don't like to have the pressure of having to finish something, then take suggestions instead.
